For many years there has been talk of flipping the sanctuary. Well, it is about to become reality.

Construction, and in some cases destruction has been going on through the winter months. The old staircase and balcony have been removed. New walls have been erected. A new emergency exit has been installed. A new platform which runs the width of the sanctuary has been constructed. Much wiring has been run. The lights are on a dimmer now. Our sound man will have his own booth which we affectionately call ‘Calebs’ Playpen’. Air conditioning is also a much welcomed commodity as well as the newly installed double doors in the center of what will be the back wall.

Tentatively, May 23rd is our dedication date. It remains to be seen if our crew can turn all the pews 180 degrees in time. If not, then I guess Pastor will be preaching to a lot of backs.
